Climbing in El Capitan - The Nose

El Cap
Some friends from a neighboring city have recently returned from a climbing trip in USA, California.

It's not hard to guess they went to Yosemite National Park to climb one of the most famous walls - El Capitan. They chose to climb The Nose - one of the best known routes for big wall climbing, in the valley and in the world.

Facts and figures:
  • two people team
  • two days on the wall
  • temperatures of 30+ degrees Celsius
  • 37 liters of water carried up the wall
  • eating once a day in the evening
  • food: power bars, energy gels, few sandwiches
