My name is Constantin Gabor and I'm an outdoor addict, video enthusiast and passionate blogger.
Climbing, mountain biking, mountaineering and other mountain related sports are my main interests.
On this blog you'll find:
- Climbing tips
- Mountain bike related stuff
- Mountaineering articles
- Tutorials on shooting and editing outdoor adventure videos
- Posts on general outdoor activities and extreme sports (trekking, caving, skydiving, etc)
- Related DIY projects & tutorials
- Gear reviews
- Outdoor gear giveaways - by major brands like Hydrapak, Wolverine, GoLite, Prana, etc.
The goal of this blog is to present outdoor activities and extreme sports in a way that is both thrilling and funny. There is absolutely no reason one should think outdoorsy stuff is inherently dangerous! Any "extreme" discipline can be mastered nicely if all factors are taken into account: proper equipment, specific knowledge, training, weather, etc.
Walking on streets can be more dangerous than climbing - so go out there and do your thing! You will be fine and if you won't...don't blame the sport!
I challenge my readers on a regular basis with contests based on their outdoor experience - prizes consist of Highball T shirts.
Visitors can also download free T shirt vector designs for their outdoorsy shirts, sweaters and hoodies. This will hopefully promote outdoor extreme sports in a funny and fashionable way, making Highball an outdoor apparel brand with no inventory which encourages DIY. Designs are usually editable, in vector format, so you can add your personal touch to them.
Please send me any suggestions for creating interesting print designs that could decorate your extreme sports T shirts. I will ask an artist to draw it or I will create it myself using computer graphics software.
My current occupations:
- Founder of Highball Blog, also designing the mountain bike T shirts for Highball Store
- Internet marketing consultant - content marketing in particular
- Videographer - doing freelance work for clients who want me to shoot their events
- Business and Economics at Moray College - Elgin (see map), Scotland - UK; you can see me here on our trip to Loch Ness - I'm the guy in the left of the photograph, wearing a dotted cap
- Economics, Tourism, Services, Marketing and Trade at the Economics Faculty within Transilvania University - Brasov; my bachelor thesis debated, business and tourism wise, the development of a climbing gym in Brasov (my home city) - the climbing gym, owned by my friends and fellow climbers, is now running and it's a perfect training facility for the climbers' community
