Georgel has just left this morning for another bouldering trip in Switzerland. This is his second trip for this year and perhaps he'll visit even more the Ticino canton by the end of the year.
It's impressive that such a big fan of bouldering can also enjoy the less convenient aspects of mountaineering and trad climbing; you don't see too many sport climbers willing to hike for hours just to reach mountain walls with bad protected routes. I hope he'll be back soon so we can climb more alpine routes and maybe even bolt some sport lines on the tallest tower from Piatra Mare mountain.
Cheers!

Bouldering in Ticino, Switzerland
Some of my friends are in Switzerland right now, bouldering in Ticino.
Ticino is a canton, well known for its world class bouldering sites:

Ticino is a canton, well known for its world class bouldering sites:
- Cresciano - home of the mythical boulder problem "Dreamtime", first climbed by Fred Nicole and made famous by Dave Graham (video shown below)
- Chironico - best bouldering spot in Ticino, in my opinion
- Magic Wood - suitable for summer (shady and north oriented), renown for riverbed problems
